Street parking is available along Katta Avenue. Please do not obstruct the street or any neighbouring driveways — you can park anywhere freely along the street.

There is also a 4WD access track that leads directly down to the front door of the property. This track is recommended for experienced drivers with a 4WD vehicle only. If in doubt, stick to street parking.

3

The front door is located at the bottom of the stairs. The top of the staircase sits between the letterbox and the garage at street level. Note there are approximately 50–60 stairs from street level down to the front door.

The Currumbin TreeHouse — Location & Parking Guide

The front door
2

Front door code: will be provided separately prior to arrival.

3

Turn the handle anti-clockwise and push the door forward to open. The door is heavy — a firm push works best.

4

Upon walking in a few metres, there is a storage cupboard on your left containing a lock box. Inside you'll find a key that opens both sliding doors on the top floor. Please return this key to the lock box each time you leave.

Wi-Fi

📶 High-speed Wi-Fi

High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Network details will be provided separately prior to your arrival, and are also displayed at the property.

Sauna

Sauna Guide

Ice Bath

⚠️ Safety First
Use with caution and at your own risk. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Not recommended for children 12 or younger. If you have any health conditions, consult a medical professional before use.
1

The ice bath is ready to use — no need to turn it on or off. Temperature is set to 10–15°C.

2

Always shower before use.

3

When finished, ensure the ice bath cover is correctly replaced and fitted.

Sensory Deprivation Float Tank

⚠️ Safety First
Not recommended for guests under 16 years of age. Do not use if you have open wounds, or if you have shaved recently. Consult your doctor if you have any health conditions. Always shower before and after your session, and use the bathroom beforehand.

The Ultimate Sensory Reset

Float effortlessly in a solution of magnesium sulphate at skin temperature (34°C) — completely weightless, completely still. Sessions from 15 minutes to 60+ minutes. Lid open or closed; closing the lid creates deeper sensory deprivation and a richer experience.

1

If you'll be closing the lid, dry the underside of the lid with a towel beforehand — condensation can drip during your session otherwise.

2

The tank runs on an analog power supply timer. If your session falls within one of the scheduled power periods, use the remote control to start a session (pre-set to 60 mins) — this prevents the pump from activating mid-float if the water drops below 34°C. If your session is outside a power period, you don't need to do anything with the remote.

3

Use the remote to toggle the ambient light on/off and change colour — perfect for a more meditative experience.

4

Ear plugs are recommended — find disposable ones on the window sill near the door — to prevent the float solution from entering your ear canal.

5

A mild stinging sensation on skin is normal when first entering. This usually settles within a few minutes. If it doesn't ease, exit and rinse off.

6

When your session ends, dry yourself thoroughly on the cement next to the tank before walking to the shower. Walking straight to the shower spreads the magnesium solution across the deck, where it will crystallise. If this occurs, hose down the deck.

7

Always close the lid when you're finished.

Pool & Spa

⚠️ Safety First
Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times in the pool/spa area.
🌡️ Want the spa heated?
Spa heating is managed remotely — simply message us via the Airbnb app to let us know you'd like the spa heated and when you plan to use it. We'll take care of the rest. The spa takes a few hours to reach temperature so the earlier you let us know the better.

The Ultimate Wellness Routine

This curated sequence combines the power of heat, cold, breathwork and sensory stillness to deliver a profound mental and physical reset — leaving you feeling deeply restored and rejuvenated.

The Signature Reset

Approx. 2–3 hours · Adjust to your own pace

1
🔥 Sauna — 20–30 mins

Play peaceful meditation music. Stay hydrated with electrolytes or water throughout.

2
🌬️ Breathwork — 3–5 mins

Shower briefly then find a comfortable seated or lying position.
· Take 10–15 deep breaths in and out (≈ 1 min)
· After the final exhale, hold your breath for 30–60 seconds
· Repeat this cycle 3 times
Note: you may feel lightheaded — remain seated until fully recovered before standing.

3
🧊 Ice Bath — 1–3+ mins

Don't push yourself if you're new to cold exposure. Build your tolerance gradually over each session.

4
⚡ Rewarming Movement — 1–2 mins

Star jumps, push-ups, spot jogging — get the blood flowing and warm the body naturally.

5
🌊 Float Tank — 20–30 mins

Settle your mind by focusing on your breath and heartbeat for the first few minutes. Use any remaining time for visualisation or pure stillness.

6
💦 Spa — Relax & Unwind

Finish by soaking in the spa and taking in the view. You've earned it.

Local Wildlife

🐦 Your Neighbours

Bush turkeys, possums, sugar gliders and water dragons are regular visitors to the TreeHouse. We kindly ask that you respect them — please don't feed them and ensure no food scraps or rubbish are left outside overnight.

🐳 Whale Season
Keep an eye on the horizon — whales put on quite a show from here! Grab the binoculars on the top level to catch breaching whales during your stay. Take care when driving in and out of the street for neighbouring pets and wildlife on the road.
🎵 Music
Connect to any of the televisions for music, or use the JBL Speaker on the upstairs bench on the top floor.

Checking Out

We've kept check-out simple. Here's all we ask:

🛏️

Beds: No need to make beds that have been slept in. Just leave them.

🛁

Towels: Leave used towels on the bathroom floor — no need to fold or hang.

🍳

BBQ: If used, please clean thoroughly. A cleaning charge applies if left dirty.

🗑️

Rubbish: Bag it up and leave on the top-level deck outside the front door. (Bins are at the top of the street if you'd prefer, but no obligation.)

🥦

Perishables: Any food you can't take with you is fine to leave in the fridge — the cleaner will remove it.
